SFU 소개

1965년 설립된 사이먼 프레이저 대학교 (Simon Fraser University, SFU)는 캐나다 브리티시 컬럼비아 (British Columbia, BC)주 버나비 (Burnaby), 밴쿠버 (Vancouver), 써리 (Surrey)에 3개의 캠퍼스를 가지고 있는 공립 종합 대학교입니다. 약 100여개의 학부 과정과 40여개의 대학원 과정을 제공하며 재학생은 약 37,000여명입니다. 컴퓨터 사이언스, 운동 생리학, 범죄학, 커뮤니케이션, 상경 계열 전공이 캐나다 내 최고로 평가되며 학부생 위주로 활발하게 진행되는 산학 협력 프로그램(Co-op)을 통해 학생들이 졸업 전 1-3학기 인턴십 경력을 쌓을 수 있습니다.

패스웨이 (Pathway) 과정이란?

사이먼 프레이저 대학교 (SFU) 버나비 캠퍼스 내 위치한 Fraser International College (FIC)에서 제공되는 국제 학생들을 위한 사이먼 프레이저 대학교 공식 입학 과정으로 한 반 평균 30-35명 소규모 수업이 제공됩니다. 3학기 (12개월) 동안 국제 학생들끼리 학업 하고 해당 과정을 성공적으로 이수하면 SFU 연계 전공 2학년으로 진학 가능합니다. 패스웨이 과정 학생만을 위한 FIC의 스텝들이 상주하고 있으며 Study, Club, Workshop, Info Session 등이 제공됩니다. FIC 패스웨이 과정으로 입학한 학생들도 SFU 학생들과 동일하게 학생증을 발급받아 모든 학교 시설 및 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다.

사이먼 프레이저 대학교 (SFU) 진학 요건

SFU 2학년으로 진학하기 위해서는 패스웨이 과정에서 최소 10과목 (30학점)를 이수하고 입학하고자 하는 전공별로 요구하는 CGPA (4.3 만점에 2.5~3.5 이상)를 충족해야 합니다.
